REST IN POWER MIKY!!
It’s with a heavy heart and an even heavier hand that I put my pen to the paper to write words we couldn’t even imagine three days ago, our good friend, our longest lasting colleague and devoted shop manager, The Howling Mad Dog better known as Miky or @unclerunswithscissors has moved on to become the manager up there or down below and no matter where he went, I really like to believe he’s already scaring the shiet out of angels or demons alike, explaining whatever god or devil thought was running things what they’ve been doing wrong for the last millennia…

This one HURTS SO BAD!!
You leave us lost and heartbroken, you could be a real harda$$, without a doubt the grumpiest of us all but we all knew that inside that beast of a body or body of a beast a tiny heart of the purest gold was ticking for each and everyone of us and we could always, ALWAYS trust you were there for us and even though I’m writing this as “owner of the shop” I hear the voices of of everybody who ever worked with you, took a class with you or simply was a friend in the back of my head telling me the right words if they ever existed.
We’re gonna miss you, you brilliant, talented ba$$tard, your loyalty to the shop, your loyalty to the team, your loyalty to your patrons but above all your cast iron, unapologetic loyalty to yourself…
Your life was wayyy too short but you lived it twice as hard as so many others and in your given time you have inspired so, SO MANY and we can never thank you enough…
You might have left an impressive body but your spirit will never die my old friend, I, and I think everybody who’s life you touched with me, hereby solemnly swear you’ll live forever as we’ll keep talking, laughing, reminiscing, toasting, smoking and maybe shed an occasional tear about you!!
